HUGO is the adventure of a wily and resourceful orphan boy whose quest to unlock a secret left to him by his father will transform Hugo and all those around him, and reveal a safe and loving place he can call home. Directed by Martin Scorsese and written by John Logan, HUGO is based on the book THE INVENTION OF HUGO CABRET by Brian Selznick. Produced by Graham King, Tim Headington, Martin Scorsese and Johnny Depp, HUGO’s behind-the-camera artists include cinematographer Robert Richardson, ASC, editor Thelma Schoonmaker, A.C.E., production designer Dante Ferretti, set decorator Francesca Lo Schiavo, costume designer Sandy Powell and visual effects supervisor Rob Legato. The sound team includes John Midgley, Tom Fleischman, C.A.S., Philip Stockton and Eugene Gearty, and the score was composed by Howard Shore.
